EcoSmart Fire - Firepits Indoors - Stix

Indoors

When someone say's firepit, straight away we think of a flame appliance which resides outdoors. Typically, this is becuase of the smoke of the noxious gases a gas firepit will emit.

With Bio-Ethanol, there is none of that, so when you purchase your EcoSmart Firepit, some will give you the for either indoor or outdoor, the indoor one will have a collection tray which would collect any spilt bioethanol fuel - Should you have an accident.

Whilst you can take these outdoors, if left out in the rain this same tray can fill with water so keep that in mind!

Outdoors

Typically, when we think of a firepit, we think outside. Is this because they normally give off smoke or cumbersome gas lines supplying them. With the EcoSmart Bioethanol firepits there is no smoke. It has a self contained resevoir which can last up to 11 hours and able to produce upto 6Kw of heat (Model dependent).

What's more, you can sit and embrace the dancing flames in the knowing that you aren't burning any fossil fuels, just simple clean Bio-ethanol

Do Bioethanol firepits produce heat?

Yes - However, Not as much as their LPG, Natual gas or wood alternatives.

Whilst many gas firepits boast heatout of 14Kw and above, Bioethanol doesn't come close - And you wouldn't want it to.

The largest bio-ethanol burner EcoSmart use in theirr firepits would be the AB8 which produces a maximum heatput of 6Kw, we feel this is perfect for most occasions.

So lets set the scene. You have your friends and family over, Late lunch or an early dinner - Doesn't matter as the fun times roll right through the evening. As the sun starts to set, the temperature begins to drop; not uncomfortable but there is most definately that chill in the air.

You turn on your gas firepit, and soon enough, your guests are uncomfortably warm so you turn the firepit down. With the firepit turned down, the flame has shrunk and the ambient light given off, well that might aswell not be there. The ambience is soon lost.

Try with the log firepit, but not so easy to control the temperature, and your guests just love going home smelling like bonfire.. right?
