Why EcoSmart over other brands of Bio-ethanol fires?

EcoSmart design and manufacturer their products from the pen and paper, to the product you recieve at your door. It's the Ethos of EcoSmart to produce a product which can be sold around the world in several major continents and ensure the comply to the most stringent of independent testing. What this actually means, EcoSmart are invested in their products. All of the EcoSmart fire products revolve around their range of burners which have all been certified to BS EN16647. What's more, they are compliant to Part J of the UK Building regulations (Combustion appliances and fuel storage systems). All of this means that many UK home and business premises insurers will cover the EcoSmart Product range - Something that can not be said for most other Bio-ethanol fires on the market.

Do I need a Flue for my Bio-ethanol fire?

No - Simple as that. Becuase the burning of bio-ethanol emits two by-product; Water and CO2 (At extremely low levels), a flue is not required. This enables the designer to be extremely created with their designs without needed to take into account for pipes etc. The other advantage is that the EcoSmart Bio-ethanol range are a great option for those who live in apartments who still want a real flame but can't have a flue or a gas line into the property. Giving you ultimate flexibility!

Is a warranty included with all EcoSmart products?

Of course. All Flex models, stainless steel parts, including raw, linished and powder coated and black ceramic coated are covered by a 2-Year warranty. All mild steel, including powder coated and chrome plated, cement, glass, leather, fabric, teak and MDF (painted or cemented rendered) are covered by a 1 year gaurentee.

Can I return this product if I don't like it?

How do you start your EcoSmart Bioethanol Fire ?

It actually couldn't be easier.

All EcoSmart Bioethanol burners are designed with the end user in mind. So whilst simply to ignite, safety is absolutely paramout. Using the included jerry can with it's integrated safety stop, filling the cold burner is easy. Lighting the burner is even easier.

Depending on the burner you have, there will be either a removable lid, or a hinged lid. Using the hook on the end of the lighting rod, remove the lid or fold back so the burner is open. Dip the lighting rod in the the fuel reservoir, remove and light the little fuel on the lighting rod. With the lighting rod alite, move the lighting rod to the burner and allow the vapour from the reservoir to catch.

Want to turn the burner off, simple. Again, using the hook on the end of the lighting rod, hook the lid and place or fold over the flame thus starving the flame of oxygen. The flame will distinguish. Please be careful as the burner gets very hot and will take some time to cool down.

Refueling must be done only when the burner is cool.
