How much does the Flametek Trio cost to run?
There are many factors involved. So to start with, if the Trio is in 'flame effect only' mode, very little power is used. If the heat is on, the maximum heat output is 1.9Kw, the heater may not be on all the time depending on the temperature setpoint and current ambient room temperature. Finally, the unit rate of electricity will have a large factor in this. However, any electric fire will consume electricity to produce heat. It is not necessarily how much heat it produces, at once, but how much power is required to heat the room. With the inbuilt thermostat, your Flametek Trio will only use power to heat when required.
