What hearth is required for my Saltfire ST-X Wide?
The Saltfire ST-X Wide is designed to be used with either a 12mm hearth, or a full constructional hearth, providing great flexibility when it comes to installing.
Can I burn Coal in my Saltfilre ST-X Wide?
If you have the mulltifuel grate installed, yes. If you don't, you can purchase the multi-fuel grate seperately and retrofit. Do NOT burn coal without the multi fuel grate.
Do I need to vent the room with the ST-X Wide?
Not normally - The Saltfire ST-X Wide being only 5Kw, most installations will not require additional ventilation. If your home was constructed in 2008 or later, or with an air permeability of 5 m3/hm2 or less, then a small air vent will be required. Your installer will be able to assist with this.
Does the Saltfire ST-X Wide come with a guarentee?
