Logs or coal? You Decide
The Saltfire ST-X4 allows you to load logs up to 10" (270mm) in length or use a smokeless coal. By using the smokeless coal in the Saltfire ST-X4, you can keep the heat going for much longer into the evening keeping the stove nice and warm, taking that chill out of the air.
The coal ashes simply fall through the grate into the ash pan which is simply and easy to remove for emptying when full. You may even keep it warm till the next morning, making the re-light even easier.
With an optimal heat range of 1Kw right up to a whopping 5Kw, there is normally no need for additional room air intakes which is something that is required for stove over 5Kw heat output making the installation perfect for those do not wish to puncture permanent holes in the room walls for increased ventilation which is required for larger burners.
